2021 Top 10+ “Cool Dad” Holiday Gift Guide

Lastly, I always start my lists off by saying these are things I own and have tested or wish to own myself. I try to make sure they contain some amazing ideas but I’m sure to miss out on some pretty cool stuff. If there’s anything you feel I forgot or should have been added, comment below.

Now, on to the list.

For The Organized Dad

Universal XL HD Lifter

SmarterHome GarageSmart Motorized Storage Solutions – This past year I purchased the GarageSmart Motorized Storage “Universal XL HD Lifter” to store my family vehicle cargo box. I’ve been so impressed that I’ve now recommended it to several friends and family members. Using the mobile app allows you to easily raise and lower items. GarageSmart has many different offerings, all of which are awesome. Check out everything at https://bit.ly/GarageSmart.

For The Outdoors Enthusiast Dad

MSR Stake Hammer

MSR Stake Hammer – Sure, dad could pack a “regular” hammer. Could pack a hatchet with a flat side to hammer, heck, there’s always the rocks at the campsites. But, with so much equipment to pack and all the weight that adds up, this will be a pleasant addition to his camp gear. You can order yours by going to https://amzn.to/476yLK8.

For The Everyday Cool Dad

Magpul DAKA Field Tray

Magpul DAKA Field Tray – Dang these are awesome. I keep one on my nightstand and another with my gunsmithing tools. The one on my nightstand is where I put my wallet, eyedrops, phone and other things I regularly keep in my pockets. It’s great having a quick, go-to, place for that kind of stuff. The one with my smithing tools is where I keep all the pieces of something I’m building or cleaning. You might not think it, but they really are great to have. Order here, https://amzn.to/46O760U.

For The Dad Who Likes to Cook

Epicurean Pizza Peel & Pizza Cutter – whether you’re cooking homemade pizza in a pizza oven or something frozen in your oven, this is for you. Pick it up here, https://amzn.to/46OOHB3. And don’t forget the cutter, https://amzn.to/46QJVmn.

The Butcher's Table by Allie D'Andrea

The Butcher’s Table by Allie D’Andrea – This is for the dad who likes to cook OR hunt. The cover says the book contains the “Techniques and Recipes to Make the Most of Your Meat”. Importantly, this is relevant, regardless, if you harvested your own meat or picked it up from your local butcher. Order here, https://amzn.to/3QfyvSm.

For The Cool Car Dad

NOCO Boost HD GB70

NOCO Boost HD GB70 – NOCO is great and this is a great gift. Some of the big box stores sell jump starters, however, you’ll want to get one that supports the vehicle(s) you may need to use it on. This is the kind of gift you hope you never have to use but if you ever do need it, you want one that works. Many larger vehicles require a bit more, umph, to get them to turn over and start. That’s where the GB70 comes in handy. It’s capable of up to 40 jump starts for 8.0L Gasoline and 6.0L Diesel Engines. So you can rest easy knowing he can save most anyone needing a jump. And best of all, there’s no need to park awkwardly next to them. Get it here, https://amzn.to/3QjYJDd.

For the Gadget Dad

Grid Studio iPhone 4s

Grid Studio – In 2012 I was given my very first iPhone as a gift. Now, with Grid Studio, I can turn that memory into art. My top gift this year for the “Gadget Dad”, isn’t actually a gadget. It’s a gadget they have fond memories of turned into a work of art. For me it’s my first iPone, for others it may be a Game Boy or BlackBerry. Regardless, they’re sure to love this. You can even lock/unlock it remotely with a Level Bridge. So, if the man in your life likes gadgets AND wants to ditch the annoying keys in his pocket, this is the perfect gift. Star Wars- From a Certain Point of View Series

Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View Series – I’ve recently picked up the Audible versions of Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View Series. Each anthology is filled with several short stories from events that took place during the main trilogy from the perspective of others. They’re full of fun stories that will definitely help to expand the Star Wars universe. They’re available in digital, hard back and paper. Check them out on Amazon here https://amzn.to/3Sdhz1r.

For the “Do-it-yourselfer” Dad

Klein Tools Circuit Breaker Finder Tool Kit

Klein Tools Circuit Breaker Finder Tool Kit – I consider myself a “do-it-yourselfer” and there’s been countless times I’ve needed to kill the power to a circuit in my electrical panel. Either I’m replacing an outlet with a new one that has integrated USBs, I’m upgrading a light fixture or fan, or maybe even adding a new outlet to an area in need. Regardless, I constantly find myself using this tool to find/verify the correct breaker and then test any outlet’s I’ve replaced or added. You know, to make sure I don’t burn the house down. I feel it’s a go-to for DIYers and you can get one here, https://amzn.to/3QkffTB. I also find myself using the following Klein Tools Electrical Test Kit a lot too. https://amzn.to/45OonFO.
