Hotel Indigo – Disneyland Hotel Review
Pssst. I’m starting a collection of notes about all the hotels at which we stay, particularly at Disneyland. Starting with our most recent trip to Anaheim. So, here we go! Read all about our stay at the Hotel Indigo in June 2019. Other hotel reviews will be found HERE as I add them. – Melissa

What we liked about the Hotel Indigo:
- 10 min walk to Disneyland.
- Free covered parking.
- Reasonably priced room options – we picked a suite so that Kitt could go to bed behind a closed door at his usual time and the rest of us could hang out in the common area (watch TV, order food, etc). We’ve learned that eating pizza in the hotel bathroom while the babe sleeps isn’t our fav 😂).
- Have cribs with a decent comfy mattress. I always bring my own crib sheet.
- VERY clean. They always stocked the bathrooms with fresh towels and refreshed the room daily. One of the cleanest Anaheim hotels I’ve stayed at – and that’s saying something.
- Cute and trendy. The room felt modern and updated. Add that to the cleanliness and you’ve got a winner.
- Beds and pillows were comfy. This is important to me.
- Lots of nearby food options, including an onsite restaurant.
- The shampoos and soaps smelled really good! AVEDA brand.
- Nice pool area, although we didn’t have time to really enjoy it.
- Helpful/friendly front desk staff. Offered us water bottles on check in and check out. It’s the little things.
- It’s a hotel and not a motel. Rooms are accessed from inside the building.
- Fitness room.
- Computer room.
What we didn’t like about the Hotel Indigo:
- No bathtub. Now, I didn’t ask if other rooms had tubs, but mine certainly didn’t. I knew there weren’t any other suites available, so I didn’t ask. But not having a tub isn’t great if your infants/kids are used to that. It’s a good thing our kid fit in the sink 😂 He actually thought it was great fun. (Make sure you check out the pics below).
- Noise. There seemed to be a lot of noise coming from the rooms around us (mostly footsteps from above) but also from the cleaning staff in the hall. Our room was right next to their supply room and we heard staff going in and out at all hours. They also regularly blocked our door with the supply room door or their carts. So maybe don’t choose room 316 at the Hotel Indigo.
- Slow elevator. Not a biggie, but still slightly annoying.
